DSUTILITY PDF Editor is designed for adding new content on top of an existing PDF. You can place text, images, shapes, freehand marks, highlights, redaction-style boxes and signatures without uploading the selected document to a DSUTILITY processing server. The editor works with a browser canvas, so the available memory and performance of your device can affect large or image-heavy PDFs.
The editor adds new objects over the existing page. It does not claim to rewrite existing PDF paragraphs in place like a word processor. Redaction-style boxes in the editor are visual overlays; they should not be treated as secure removal of underlying data. For sensitive information that must be permanently removed, use a dedicated redaction workflow and verify the saved file.
The selected PDF is processed in your browser rather than being sent to a DSUTILITY PDF-processing server. Your browser may still load public JavaScript libraries from their CDNs, and your device controls memory, speed and storage. Keep the original document and follow your own organization’s rules for sensitive files.
No. The editor is an overlay editor for adding new text and other objects. Existing page text is not rewritten in place.
Select mode is for choosing, moving and editing objects such as text boxes, images and signatures. Pan mode is for moving around the page after zooming.
